Fort Galle
Galle Fort is one of the most distinctive icons of Colombo. It is an ancient fortress built in 1663 by the Portuguese. It was later expanded by the Dutch, after whom many streets are still named. A walk along the walls is breathtaking. You’ll have a beautiful view of the ocean and the city.
