Restaurant Sri Lanka — our resort restaurant is the heart of Sleeping Elephant Beach Resort. Every day we prepare fresh dishes from local ingredients — authentic Sri Lankan cuisine that is safe and delicious for international guests.

Half-board (breakfast + dinner) is included in every accommodation type:

• Breakfast — tropical fruit, hoppers, eggs, toast, tea and coffee
• Dinner — rice & curry, fresh fish and seafood, Sri Lankan specialities
• Drinking water — filtered water available all day at no charge

• Rice & Curry — rice with several curry dishes, the foundation of Sri Lankan cooking
• Hoppers — crispy rice flour pancakes, the classic Sri Lankan breakfast
• Kottu Roti — chopped flatbread with vegetables, egg or meat
• Fresh fish — tuna, snapper, prawns straight from the Indian Ocean
• Wattalapam — traditional Sri Lankan dessert made from coconut milk

Restaurant Atmosphere

The restaurant is situated directly beside the garden and pool — candlelit dinner with views over the tropical garden is an unforgettable experience. The open terrace allows outdoor dining throughout the year.
